Disclaimer: This is an unsupported release. It might contain errors and
it might not work at all on your system. Even though it is
very unlikely that you might suffer any sort of damage
(crashes, data-loss, etc) by using AVSGrabber, I am not
            responsible if it occurs.
Feel free to send me informative bug reports, but don't ask
for help if it's not working.

Read Me:

This is an experimental APE (AVS Plug-in Effect) that allows you to
capture the AVS output and save it to an AVI.

To use it, first open the preset you want to capture in the AVS editor
(double-click the AVS display). Then, click the [+] button and choose
'Misc > AVSGrabber 1.2'. Now drag the AVSGrabber item in the list all
the way to the bottom. To the right you can configure the grabbing
options.

Output file: enter a filename or click 'Browse' to choose one.

Playback rate: either you can enter the frame rate manually, or you can
check the 'Copy from AVS' box to have AVSGrabber use AVS's reported
  value.
If you check the 'Sync frames' box, then the output .avi file will
follow time exactly. This is useful if you want to add music to the
.avi file afterwards (when synchronizing is important), but is best
left off if all you need is a silent, smooth animation.

Output format: AVSGrabber can compress the video stream while it's
grabbing, but this will slow down AVS a bit. To prevent this, you
should capture the video uncompressed, and compress it later on (*).
Checking the 'Raw 32-bit mode' box will put AVSGrabber in the fastest
capturing mode, but might produce an AVI that is not compatible
with every program (*). Try raw-mode first, and if it doesn't work,
  use the regular 'uncompressed' codec.

Status: when you're ready, hit the grab button to start the recording.
Click the button again to stop recording.

(*) I recommend VirtualDub to process your AVI files and compress them.
It's a free, open-source tool for Windows. Get it from:
     http://www.virtualdub.org/
Using VirtualDub, you can turn a raw 32-bit file into a regular
uncompressed 24-bit file so other programs can read it (Video >
    Color Depth).
